saturday junk shop

As usual, it did not disappoint.
$15 later and I left with these goodies..

A bust of someone that I feel like I should know who this is? Currently calling him Colonel Mustard. He was very very dirty so this had to happen before any paint was going to touch him..

Yes, he's also a bank.  Love me some two-fers.

And this vintage hankerchief could offer just the right bit of funk once he's framed and put somewhere unexpected:

Having shopper's regret for these, but really, wouldn't mexican bull plates be so much cooler if they actually came from Mexico? (ok they did come from mexico but if it were ME in mexico... finding them...). So I passed. wahh

71 days.... pacific coast comforters

Before Christmas this past year we spent a night at the Waldorf in NYC for a little fancy Staycation. The bed was seriously the most comfortable thing either of us had ever felt, that we had to strip it down and find out what they had on it. The feather bed was from Pacific Coast Comforters and I NEED ONE

A little pricey. But again, need. For life.

it's flea market season!

Mom and I happily woke up before the sun this morning to drive to the Elephant's Trunk Flea Market in Connecticut.

While I am in no position to buy anything substantial (where am I living in a few months? no idea), I did walk away with these cuties:

working vintage fan, $20

pie plate , $3

Still thinking about these babies:

Saturday Junk Shop

I love this place. It's open year round, only on Saturdays. Basically its like a contiuing garage sale and you can score some AWESOME stuff.

This week, I walked away with this vintage trail map which is going to make for some pretty cool wall art:
